The apple crumble mug cake is quick to make sweet treat in a microwave. This is chewy soft cake with apples topped with crumble. The recipe is for two servings.

00:14 Ingredients for apple layer:

2 medium apples, chopped
1 tsp. flour
pinch of cinnamon
pinch of ground ginger

02:16 For crumble topping:

2 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
2 tbsp. white granulated sugar or of choice
1 tbsp. all purpose flour
7 tbsp. rolled oats
add some cinnamon

Instructions:
1. Chop the apples. Divide the apples into two cups, add half teaspoon of all purpose flour to each cup. Add a pinch of cinnamon and ginger. Gently mix the ingredients.
2. Add in a small bowl, 2 tbsp. of melted unsalted butter, two tbsp. of sugar, 1 tbsp. of all purpose flour, 7 tbsp. of rolled oats, add some cinnamon. Mix all ingredients together.
3. Spread the crumble mixture on top of the apples.
4. Microwave for 5 to 6 minutes. The apples should be bubbling and the whole thing will reduce in size. Cooking time is based on my 750W microwave so your timing might vary.
5. Carefully remove from the microwave and let stand until cool enough to eat. Be careful because it's going to be really hot at first!
6. Enjoy warm or cold.
7. Cooking time will vary greatly depending on your microwave and the width and depth of the mug.
