Leica M6 California 35mm Film Photography Road Trip, with Kodak Ektar, Portra and Ilford HP5

Join me and the family on a once in a lifetime road trip down the California coast from San Francisco to Los Angeles, across to Las Vegas and out to the Grand Canyon. All recorded on my Leica M6 Classic and Kodak Ektar, Portra and Ilford HP5.

This was an epic trip characterised more by the places we couldn't fit in than the fabulous places we did manage to see.

There were many highlights, from the Golden Gate Bridge to Big Sur, Alcatraz, the Hoover Dam, Calico Ghost Town and the Mormon Rocks. But the best location by far was the Grand Canyon. We only did a short walk down to Ooh Ah Point on the South Kaibab Trail, but it was spectacular. I could easily spend two weeks there with my Leica and Hasselblad shooting sunsets.
