1969 Westinghouse Washer - Maiden Wash

Welcome all to the maiden wash in my 1969 Westinghouse J Series washer! This washer, like the Maytag A106 has been sitting unused for a number of years. With a NOS belt installed, and a couple small leaks patched, this machine was up and running, and eager to wash clothes! I believe I previously stated this one was a neutral drain model. However, after removing the back panel, it was discovered I was incorrect, and this machine does NOT have a Pre-Pump solenoid, so it is in fact not capable of neutral draining. However that doesn't stop this workhorse from being absolutely incredible! I hope you guys enjoy this machine as much as I do!

Cycle Selections: Normal - Regular Wash - 8 Minute Wash - Warm/Warm - "Regular" load size

Detergent Used - Gain "Apple Mango Tango" scent.
