The following video shows how to obtain the Fang Key in Dark Souls 2.
This is the key that will allow you to free weaponsmith Ornifex.
In order to get it you will need a Fragrant Branch of Yore. Use this in the petrified Lion that you could see to the right side of the bonfire. If you kill this enemy then it will drop the key.
Then in the same area of the Shaded Woods go to the hole full of basilisks.
You can use the key there and then you will free Ornifex.
Ornifex will move later to Brightstone Cove Tseldora and you will be able to trade Boss Souls, upgrade weapons, buy materials, etc.
