Jorge Lorenzo believes that Marc Marquez's victory in the 2024 Australian MotoGP was not purely the skill of the Gresini Ducati rider. He felt that Marquez was lucky because Jorge Martin (Pramac Ducati) who had led the race, actually made a blunder and was overtaken by The Baby Alien.


Quartararo later added: "I started the race very well, but unfortunately the first part of the race was difficult.
