Patients often come into the office with the question of whether they need a breast lift or implants. During the consultation, we take several measurements. The most important measurement is location of the nipple in relation to the crease underneath the breast. If the nipple is point too far downward, then a breast lift may be a good choice.

One reason for a breast lift is that a person may have too much skin and note enough volume to fill up the skin. This is why the breasts sag or get lower. By removing some of the skin, the breast can appear more round and perky.
