Mavuika (the Pyro Archon), the most awaited character from Natlan: It's been a while since we got anything new related to her kit, other than that whole motorcycle thing, of course. Just a few hours ago, we received some new information about Mavuika's kit and her playstyle, and I must say, she's looking like a fun-to-play character. The sources of this information are Foul, HXG, and DK2, so it's pretty reliable, but also subject to change since we are still a few months away from her actual release or the closed beta.

Okay, so according to the info: Mavuika will be the ultimate version of Dehya, or something like that, but in a good way, of course. They said that she's Dehya Pro Max, so I'm guessing she will be everything we wanted Dehya to be.


Mavuika's Elemental Skill:
Moving on to her skill: there are two versions of her skill. The tap version summons a collaborative attack, and the hold version grants her Pyro infusion. And just like every other Natlan character, the press and hold both consume Nightsoul points.

The motorcycle riding, which has gotten everyone excited, must be a part of her skill. And according to the latest information, Mavuika's motorcycle can travel up mountains, on water, and on the ground, of course. Like Mualani's shark thing, I'm pretty sure this skill will be useful to deal damage to enemies as well. So far, every character from Natlan has gotten a unique set of skills—surfboard, rope mechanism, skates, and now a motorcycle. I'm wondering what else Hoyoverse is hiding.

Mavuika's Elemental Burst:
Her elemental burst is designed to hit single-target enemies, and she can trigger it once every two seconds. They didn’t say anything else, but from what I understand, the 2-second timer is not its cooldown time but the ability to hit enemies every two seconds while her burst is active.

A few weeks ago, Uncle K also shared Mavuika's potential kit details, and according to that, Mavuika will be both an on-field and an off-field sub-DPS character. Her kit will include mechanisms that will increase the entire team's survivability, suggesting that she will be an excellent support or hybrid unit.

According to White, Mavuika is capable of assisting Hydro and Attack-based characters, and this alone is enough to guess how valuable she will be. Hydro and Attack-based characters like Neuvillette and Arlecchino are some of the best DPS characters in the game, and she might buff them even more, but this is just speculation at this point.

They also said that the Pyro element attachment efficiency is similar to Raiden Shogun's Elemental Skill, which kind of makes sense since she is expected to be an off-field character. Furthermore, she has a constellation that increases the number of characters in the team with the Night Soul state. For example, if two Natlan characters are in the team, this constellation will instead treat the team as having three Natlan characters, which is really cool considering how important the Night Soul state is for Natlan characters.

The source also claims that the Pyro Archon will become extremely viable for the meta when her Constellation C2 is unlocked, and after unlocking her C6, she can buff herself and become an on-field character. If this information is true, then she will be one of the few characters who can work both on-field and off-field. But this info is still early and subject to change in the future, so take it with a grain of salt.
