Over the past few weeks, chipmunk Chee-Chee has exhibited some signs of losing her fur and constantly scratching. I have found an Exotic Vet somewhat close to home and we are going there today. Due to Covid protocols, I cannot accompany any chipmunks in to the Vet office. This is a disturbing thing but I have no choice. They will send out a vet technician to collect the chipmunks, bring them into the Vet office and I will wait for a phone call.

This is the first appointment of what I am sure will be several if not many. Small rodents are very difficult to diagnose and sometimes need some very specialized tests. I will probably end up bringing all the chipmunks to the Vet soon enough. As you can imagine, the costs associated with testing them are quite high. Sometime next week I expect to be bringing her back there.

Thanks to all those for their concern and kind words. We are doing our best for Chee-Chee who also had a physical and aced that part. I will be continuing this Vlog as I get more tests done and receive more information. I hope for everyone's sake we figure this out sooner than later.
