In the year 1985, a paper was published in the AI Magazine by a NASA scientist named Rick Briggs which shocked the entire world. In this paper titled - ‘Knowledge Representation in Sanskrit and Artificial Intelligence’ - the author clearly stated that the American space agency NASA has been doing some serious research on Sanskrit to develop AI technology. Yes, you heard that right. A thousands of years old language is being researched for its deployment in futuristic technologies.

The progress of a civilisation verily shown in the development of the language they use. Sanskrit was the primary language of the ancient Hindu culture thousands of years ago. No other language comes even closer to it in terms of its advanced grammatical rules, vast vocabulary and its syntax formatting. It is the most well organised language in the whole world. Do you know that about 97% of the world’s languages are directly or indirectly influenced by Sanskrit? This shows how much interconnected developed the ancient world was.
