Will my Personal Injury Claim go to Court?

The thought of appearing in court can be daunting but this is actually very rare in personal injury cases. Usually a personal injury claim will only go to court for one of two reasons: a denial of responsibility or a disagreement over the settlement amount.

Your solicitor may also issue Court proceedings if the person or organization responsible for your injuries has been unresponsive. This is very rare though and in most cases, all parties involved would prefer to reach a settlement outside of the courtroom.

Even if a trial date is set for your case your solicitor will continue negotiations with the other side. In the unlikely event that your case does go to a trial your solicitor will be at your side throughout.
