These compact, non-invasive devices, developed by ‪@GrizCam‬ capture both audio and video, offering a powerful new way to monitor wolf populations.
Colossal contributed its AI expertise to the effort. Our on-device AI filters background noise and identifies key vocalizations in real time, alerting conservationists when a call of interest is detected. This innovation enables researchers to track wolf movement and behavior, and even estimate population size, all without the need for invasive collars.
