Is Quentin Grimes A Future STAR For The New York Knicks?

Quentin Grimes went off at the rising stars tournament last night. 27 of his team’s 60 points in the two games combined. He looked extremely confident, and honestly he looked like one of the best players there. When given opportunities he really balls out. Will the Knicks try to unleash him more after the all-star break? I don’t know if that’s easy because of how good Brunson and Randle have been, but Thibs seems to keep lowering his trust in RJ Barrett, so maybe Grimes takes a chunk of his role. After his improvement this season, and his showing last night it seems fair to ask, can Grimes be an all-star level player some day for the Knicks? He’s only 22 years old, and took a clear jump in year two, so if he continually gets given more touches he could become a really big offensive player, on top of being great defensively. That’s a great combination for an all-star type of guy. We’ll see where Grimes goes from here, but I’m excited to see what his ceiling can be.
