Another Alaska Adventure Begins | Kenai Canoe Relay | Days 1-4

Venture Crew 2000's high adventure for summer 2023 was to the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska! This is the 1st installment of this 2023 Alaska High Adventure series!

Day 1 - July 8, 2023:
The Crew spends the day traveling: Driving to Minneapolis then flying to Anchorage, Alaska!

Day 2 - July 9, 2023:
The Crew prepares their gear and heads to the entry point of the Swan Lake Canoe Route in Alaska's Kenai Peninsula where they will spend the next 9 nights in the deep Alaskan wilderness. The first day of canoeing leads them across multiple lakes and portages to their first campsite on the shores of Spruce Lake.

Day 3 - July 10, 2023:
The group spends the day enjoying their campsite by fishing, gathering firewood, and attempting to allude the barrage of mosquitoes.

Day 4 - July 11, 2023:
Another day at the Spruce Lake campsite leads into a fierce canoe relay between Crew members. To the victors belong the spoils of Oreos! A rare commodity in the deep Alaskan Wilderness.
