The Chiron, like the Veyron before it, has produced multiple special editions during its existence. Bugatti intended to manufacture just a limited number of them, therefore the Profilée was one of them. Unfortunately, because all 500 construction slots have already been filled, it will never be created again. The Molsheimers realized they couldn't produce any more, yet they persisted until it was completed. In the end, Europe only awarded it one type of clearance.

Bugatti began construction on the Chiron Profilée in the fall of 2020 in response to client requests for a less aggressive version on the Pur Sport. The enormous rear wing has been replaced with a far more modest aero element that keeps the hypercar on the road at speeds up to 236 mph (380 km/h). To give more air to the radiators, it features bigger air intakes and a larger horseshoe grille at the front than the "entry-level" Chiron. A revised splitter increases downforce at the front axle while improving ventilation.
