Pete Kuzma - Treehouse Sessions no. 7

I think most posts you see/ hear in this format have the tendency to tidy up the building of a track like this. Lots of cuts and splices. There is definitely some utility in that as the attention span of the viewer is not on the incline. Me included. But there's a ton that goes into making and building a foundation from which to play off of. Getting the right take, sound discovery, trial and error, etc. Having already found some sounds I was more or less happy with, I wanted to, again, share the process of laying parts down, looping things, gearing up for the next part. As it is with most improvisation, it is a snapshot in time- especially when the piece is through composed. Whatever take I would have done after this one would have been much different.
