This wasn’t one wedding, it was two. Kerry & Will originally planned a full celebration at Barford Park Barn in Downton, South Wiltshire - but when Will’s mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer, they brought everything forward for an intimate church ceremony so she could be there. Two months later, they honoured their original date at Barford Park Barn with the relaxed outdoor blessing and big party they’d always envisioned.

Part one began at St Lawrence Church in Downton - including a brilliantly human moment as Kerry’s veil was briefly caught underfoot - then the newlyweds jumped on decked-out Brompton bikes with little cattle bells trailing behind, cycling through confetti. We grabbed portraits in the New Forest under dramatic skies, then finished with a quiet family meal at Burley Manor.

Part two at Barford Park Barn was pure heart. Kerry was surrounded by bridesmaids, aunties and friends as the barn and lawns filled with energy, while Will welcomed guests and prepped the outdoor ceremony space. A close friend led the blessing with a reading about love and marriage that landed like a punch - and when the couple paid tribute to their parents during speeches, there wasn’t a dry eye.

This film is documentary wedding storytelling - subtle, emotive and raw - holding space for the joy, the grief, the laughter, and the bits that matter most.
