My first impressions of the Minolta XD7 (also known as the Minolta XD11). The XD7 and Leica R4 were developed as a join project between Leica and Minolta. If I compare the Minolta XD7 vs Leica R4 both cameras have the same chassis and many common parts so I was hoping the XD7 would have Leica build quality. Minolta camera prices are extremely affordable so I thought it could be an easy way to get a cheap Leica camera! I later bought both a Minolta X300 and Leica R6 (see those videos!)
