The writer dramatizes an incident related to Ranabhadhur Shah's craze for bulls. The characters in this one act play are 23 years old king Ranabahadur Shah, bull doctor Laxminarayan Dahal (Jaisi) who is also the Subedar with Samarjug Company, cowherds Jitman and Gore. This play intends to show the then feudal society where ordinary people were dehumanized. The major themes of the play are dehumanization, servitude and subjugation.
