This will be our 46th time putting the pedal to the metal and strain on the chain in the Mallee town of Quambatook. The brute force of these modified tractors pulling great weights down the 100-metre track ranging from the 502ci Chev blown fuel injected ‘Quamby Quaker’ to the 2WD Truck 350 Chev ‘Bizzee B’ and the Open Mini Modified 540 Chev, SCS, F106 Rockell; Nutta.

Quambatook is home to Australia’s first permanent purpose-built Tractor Pulling complex featuring big and mini sled tracks side by side. A range of modified and vintage tractors will be competing and exerting their power down the expertly prepared track. The small rural town is always ready to welcome you back for a bigger and better event. The purpose-built Quambatook Tractor Pulling complex is renowned as a great track for competitors and spectators alike. The track side fenced hills provide the safest viewing area, so bring along a rug or chair to enhance your day's enjoyment. A designated ‘dry area’ guarantees your family a safe and relaxing day out.

Be witness to the competition of the Open Modified Tractors, The Kings Of The Track. ‘Riverina Screamer’ with its twin-turbo 27LT Rolls Royce, alcohol-fuelled V12, compete head-to-head with ‘Plum Crazy’s’ 3 x 540ci Chevs and the diesel V8 Scania ‘Sledge Hammer’ along with last year’s new comer, ‘Rushin’ Devil’ with a Transmash 38.8 litre V12 twin turbo diesel.

The program will commence at 1.00pm and conclude under lights at approximately 10.00pm. The pulling begins with the vintage tractors at 1pm. If you are interested in bringing your vintage tractor to enter into the vintage tractor pull please call Doug on 0427 346 634. At 3.00pm, the spectacular modified tractors and trucks hit the track.

An evening tea break will see the pit gates open to the public. This will allow enthusiasts the opportunity to share the passion with the pulling teams. Also during this time Australian Idol contestant Connor Bulger will fill the air with tunes from Slim Dusty, John Williamson to Zach Bryan. After the break, look to the skies to see Paul Bennet Airshows amaze the crowd with an aerobatics display and some amazing manoeuvres. Following tea break the action will continue under lights until 10pm. Tractor pulling at night is a spectacle to be seen, in particular the Pro Stock aka Smoker tractor ‘Red Devil’.

Off the track we have a variety of market stalls, kid's entertainment and food and drink vendors. For those with diesel in their veins, have a wander through the modern fleet of trucks on display for the truck show. If you are interested in entering your truck, contact Nathan on 0488 146 851.

For the visitors who prefer machinery of yesteryear you can explore the history of farming as equipment throughout the decades will be on show. Meander down memory lane with an extensive display of heritage machinery courtesy of Quambatook Heritage Working Machinery Association.

You need to be there to be a witness to who will take out the inaugural trophy for ‘The Red Steer’ and ‘The John Parker Memorial Trophy’ at the Australian Tractor Pull Championships, Easter Saturday in Quambatook.
