「オールド・ラング・サイン」は、スコットランドの民謡、また非公式な準国歌である。日本では「蛍の光」の原曲として知られる。
古くからスコットランドに伝わっていた歌で、現在に至るまで、
特に年始、披露宴、誕生日などで歌われる。

"Auld Lang Syne" is a Scots-language poem written by Robert
Burns in and set to the tune of a traditional folk song .
It is well known in many countries, especially in the English-speaking world,
its traditional use being to bid farewell to the old year at the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve.
