Why use strategy and skill when you can use spam and cannon fodder?

Easiest way to set this up on Cemu if you want to try this yourself:

In content\level, find the arc and bld for Level_317_FinalBattle and replace ALL of these with copies of it (Would recommend pasting 9 times in the same folder and then renaming each copy to one of these):
Level_Hub_2014_01
Level_Hub_2014_02
Level_Hub_2014_03
Level_Hub_2014_Lighting_00
Level_Hub_2014_Lighting_01
Level_Hub_2014_Lighting_02
Level_Hub_2014_Lighting_03
Level_Hub_2014_Lighting_04
Level_Hub_2014_Music_common

That's basically it, now Skylander Academy should be replaced with a true nightmare
Note: If you're attempting to do this on Wii, it seems you can only have a maximum of 2. Replacing Level_Hub_2014_Music_common with something else seems to crash the game there.
