It's mid-April and Arabia Mountain's beautiful Diamorpha smallii patches are blooming! We went up the mountain on a breezy but lovely afternoon on April 12th. The Smallii flowers were just stunning, giving Arabia Mountain lots of color with their vibrant, red patches all around! They'll soon start to fade away, so now is a great time to see them while they're still bright and colorful. 🤩






Sedum smallii, synonym Diamorpha smallii, is a species of plants in the family Crassulaceae. It is known as elf orpine and Small's stonecrop. As Diamorpha smallii it was considered the only species in the genus Diamorpha. Sedum smallii is endemic to the southeastern United States. Wikipedia
