In May 2017 - following Windrose's previous successful project in 2015 - we made a return visit to Isle of Portland Aldridge Community Academy (IPACA) in Portland.

This time, a group of students went to investigate the village of Sutton Poyntz, which lies to the east of the South Dorset Ridgeway area.

This picturesque village boasts a pond, a mill, and a great view of the White Horse at Osmington, all of which have played an important role in the history of the area.

The students interviewed a range of people who live in the village to find out more.

Sutton Poyntz resident Tony’ Hethershaw's rather wet tour continues as he tells IPACA reporters about the history of some of the buildings in the village.
