Beginner Fly Tying Series: Caddis Fly

Описание к видео Beginner Fly Tying Series: Caddis Fly

In this video, I tie a very effective dry fly pattern for Brook Trout in the Appalachian Mountains. The Elk Hair Caddis, or Caddis Fly, can be tied in many different colors and sizes, and, as in this video, can be tied with Deer Hair in place of Elk.

This is a high floating dry fly, which is great for targeting fish in faster moving mountain streams and riffles. This pattern also works very well for panfish, and other smaller predatory species.
