The #agile industry doesn't have great regulations or minimum requirements for someone to become an #agilecoach.

In many cases, a #scrummaster with a couple of years experience in the job will simply pitch themselves as an #agilecoach to take advantage of higher day rates and greater opportunities regardless of whether they have the necessary skills, experience or expertise to do the job.

Sure, there are certification paths through certification bodies like #scrumalliance but only a few people choose to adopt an apprenticeship, coaching and mentorship approach to their skills development and it can lead to problems down the line.
