Maidstone Borough Council, UK, saw a 58% increase in their homeless numbers over a 5-year period. They approached EY teams to help them address the issue. Together, they worked with EY’s technology partner, Xantura, to build a predictive analytics platform that enables the council to identify people at risk of homelessness and to put preventive measures in place before the individuals reach crisis point. These actions reduced the number of homeless in the town by 40%.
