Coldest and most frigid air of the winter season will affect much of the Northeast & Mid Atlantic this weekend. With a burst of heavier snow Friday night, followed by dangerously cold wind chills, lake effect snow, and the potential for a winter storm in portions of the Appalachians, Mid Atlantic, & Northeast later Monday into Tuesday.
