Most of my time loss is from pap setup and simply not spamming ammo as efficiently as possible with max ammos and alchems. Want to get a max round game before D2, which is 255 on black ops 3. Ascension is one of the easier ones to get it on and I have the most experience on this map. I played a game to 195 (about 33 hours in) and accidentally opened spawn door after my game skipped hitting the box. For those who don't know high round zombie games take forever. It's basically a speedrun to get as far as you can before, before your game crashes. For bo3 you get about 72 hours depending on the map. Also in bo3, at round 255 the round will no longer change. So the highest round you can get is 255 which takes about 60ish hours on Ascension. To give you an idea of how long rounds take I will list some examples. Round 50 takes about 1 hour averaging a little over a minute after being setup. Round 100 takes about 4 hours getting up to 8ish minutes a round. By round 150 you're looking at 12ish hours in and 20ish minutes a round. Round 200 takes 34ish hours at about 30+ minutes a round. By the 250s you're almost at or above 60 hours in and around an hour a round.
