The Chicago Riverwalk runs along historic Wacker Drive from Lake Michigan west to Lake Street, with access at street level from each major intersection. “The Chicago Riverwalk is a downtown waterfront park space and pedestrian trail along the south bank of the Chicago River. This scenic promenade contains restaurants and concessions during the summer months, benches and lookout points, boat rentals and tours, and theater-style seating for performances. Other attractions along the Riverwalk include the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Plaza, and the McCormick Bridgehouse & Chicago River Museum.

No. The Chicago Riverwalk is free

When Chicago riverwalk is open?
Technically the Riverwalk never closes. You can walk along it at any time, day or night. Of course the businesses on the Riverwalk do close at night. Most of the restaurants close around 10pm and the bars at 2am.

How many miles is the River Walk?
The San Antonio River Walk is 15 miles long including the Downtown, Mission and Museum Reaches.
