GEA, a prominent global provider of food and dairy processing solutions, has unveiled its innovative CONTA dual block valve technology for spray dryers. This new system underscores the company's dedication to enhancing safety, efficiency, and environmental sustainability in food and dairy processing by significantly reducing microbiological risks.

#### Enhanced Sanitary Design for Product Safety

The CONTA dual block valve efficiently channels feed from the supply system to multiple atomizer nozzles, which spray the feed into the drying chamber. This advanced design minimizes feed accumulation areas by up to 96%, facilitating more effective cleaning in place (CIP) and lowering microbiological hazards. As a result, the CONTA valve system not only improves sanitary operations but also bolsters overall process and product safety.

#### Supporting Continuous Operations and Operator Safety

Each valve is approximately half the weight of traditional models, making handling safer and more manageable. The design eliminates the need for external welded manifolds, allowing for easy manual inspection and maintenance with basic tools.
