All healthcare systems are concerned about using their resources efficiently to improve outcomes for patients. Huge amount of resources are invested in cancer prevention and cancer care and rehabilitation. The development of cancer services has been very successful in extending both life expectancy and quality of life of patients with cancer.

However, cancer programmes are expensive and may offer different benefit levels to different patients. It is therefore relevant to consider the value of services across different cancer programmes and also between cancer programmes and programmes for other major disease areas.

In this webinar, moderated by Dr Ronan Glynn, speakers discuss various aspects of cancer programmes and their value for patients, their families and the general population.
