Britain's Princess Diana left Buenos Aires, Argentina Sunday afternoon after her highly publicised four-day visit to the South American country.

The Princess is returning to England, where she must face a turbulent time at home.

She has yet to face the Royal family since her bombshell Panorama TV interview, screened last Monday, sent shock waves throughout the Royal Establishment.

Britain's Princess Diana left Argentina after what many considered a successful diplomatic four-day visit.

SOUNDBITE (Spanish):
"It was sure a successful Diana, I do think the government will use it as a success, and it will use it because they think it will show an improvement in the relations between Argentina and Great Britain, after the war, after the Falklands-Malvinas war."

After giving her tell-all interview on British television, the Princess of Wales left for Argentina the following day. She has yet to field the Royal family's reaction to her appearance.

During her high-profile visit to South America, Diana proved a formidable diplomatic force. While there were protests during her trip, many veterans of the Falklands War welcomed her appearances.

She proved very popular with the Argentinean newspapers, and hardly got any bad press. This of course differs from some of the tabloids back in Britain, where Buckingham Palace is said to be furious over what it labels her lack of discretion.

But not so in Argentina, where she is ever popular as the underdog.

As of Monday, the princess will be looking for a new press adviser. With the Queen's backing, Geoff Crawford bowed out Sunday at the close of the Argentine trip. He's said to be furious over her failure to reveal her interview.
