My overall conclusions, interpretations and opinions:

MMTLP is undergoing DTC Reorganization Instructions & Allocation Service Processing:

Instructions: Collection of instructions (and locking of positions in a contra-q-sip/RRG) for voluntary events or mandatory events;

Allocations: the surrender of Positions to the Agent handling the event and allocation of entitlements based on participants positions in the security

MMTLP situation is Mandatory however it is set up similarly to a Voluntary Reorganization Processing.

Of the 8 types of Voluntary Reorganizations, MMTLP fits the definition of a Conversion Event, because of the option of the security to convert debt or preferred shares (normally to underlying common shares).

DTC may use Contra-Cusip numbers & Reorganization Segregated Accounts to report reorganization activity on your positions.

My MMTLP shares have been provided a Contra-Q-Sip

The “M” in my Contra Q-Sip M074526.90 indicates a Mandatory Reorganization Event is taking place.

My MMTLP contra Q-sip has a pledge attached, for which the Participant Broker must surrender the MMTLP in order to be credited security payments from the DTC.

Certain reorganizations may require that DTC place chills (restrictions) on physical and/or book entry activity & Contra-CUSIPs. MMTLP has been chilled.

MMTLP is undergoing a partial DTC Conversion service because the security entitlements price are yet-to-be-determined as a result the MMTLP positions have been moved to a contra-CUSIP. Once the price is determined the proceeds will be credited to your account.

However, DTC will exit this situation after allocating the Next Bridge Shares in their possession, therefore, it will be for the Brokers & Customer’s to determine the price or value.
