Lori Carcich is the first female CEO and founder of an American whiskey called Country Smooth.

Lori had no experience in the liquor industry, which I may add is also a male-dominated industry.
So what did she do? She spent 500 hours learning from Google, industry experts, anywhere she could find knowledge.

And look at her now! She has taken a whiskey that was born just five years ago and is already receiving raves, and she is already nationally distributed. National distribution is in and of itself, quite a feat to accomplish.

Lori shares what it takes to start a liquor brand from the scratch, how she finally got national distribution, and teaches us some differences between bourbon and her whiskey, Country Smooth.

Country Smooth was created for those who are new to whiskey and don't want that harsh bite that uninitiated whiskey drinkers may find off-putting, but it retains enough traditional character so the more educated whiskey drinker will find it appealing as well.

And, yes, it really is smooth, hence the name..
