ANOTHER HINDU LEADER GUNNED DOWN 7 SHOTS IN BANGLADESH | By Ayush Gautam

In a shocking incident, yet another Hindu man has been brutally killed in Bangladesh. The incident occurred in the Monirampur area in Jessore city, Bangladesh daily Prothom Alo reported. According to local media, Rana Pratap Bairagi, owned an ice manufacturing factory in Kapalia Bazar in Monirampur. Bairagi also served as an acting editor of the newspaper ‘Dainik BD Khobor’ published from Narail. As per Prothom Alo, three bike-borne assailants took him to an alley and shot him at close range. Speaking to ANI, Syed Rafiqul Islam, (SP), Jessore said Bairagi was once a leader of extremist ‘Purba Bangla Communist Party’. He further stated they would file a case soon in the matter as none of the suspects have been caught yet . Over the past weeks, there have been reports highlighting attacks and rising insecurity faced by minority groups in Bangladesh. Earlier, Khokon Das a Hindu man, succumbed to injuries after being set on fire on New Year's Eve in Tilai area. India has expressed serious concern over the recent incidents and raised question over minority safety in Bangladesh
