In this video, we are going to automatically refresh our Selenium Project in Eclipse. Sometimes we refresh to see a file in a folder or update the test-output folder for TestNG. Let me show you an example. This screenshot has a file called GreyHound Date. I’m going to execute this Test Script to load Amazon then take a screenshot. Let’s Run

The updated screenshot is not available. In order to see the screenshot, we must right click and select Refresh every time. We automatically refresh by clicking Window, Preferences, enable maximize General, select Workspace, then check Refresh using native hooks or polling. This will notify Eclipse of a file change. Click the Apply and Close button. I’m going to change the AUT to LinkedIn then run again. Open the screenshot. We see LinkedIn showed up in the Screenshot folder without us manually selecting Refresh or the shortcut key F5.
