In response to criticism surrounding Dragonite and Gyarados being in A and B+ tier while Vaporeon and Lapras are B tier on the Gym Defender Tier List, I decided to test them out, FuNKyShO style.

Recordings 1&2 feature Gyarados and Dragonite as defenders
Recordings 3&4 feature Vaporeon and Lapras
Recordings 1&3 use only Dragonite and Machamp as attackers to reflect the time efficient meta
Recordings 2&4 include Raikou and Lapras in the mix to address Gyarados and Dragonite's 4x weaknesses

Results were that Dragonite and Gyarados gyms fared as well if not slightly better than the Vaporeon and Lapras gyms, and that the Dragonite and Machamp only teams appeared to be more time and resource efficient.

Errors/limitations:
First and foremost, I'm not super elite at dodging so no expert tier performances here folks. On top of that, in 3 of the videos I ran into an awkward situation where my last Machamp fainted vs Steelix, leaving Dragonite to clean up. This unideal situation has very little effect on the overall performance, adding 10 seconds at best to the fight and it happens in 3 of the fights in the first place so the error is near evenly distributed. Another awkward situation, my Raikou has Volt Switch in the first take. Since I used a no dodging strat, the DPS difference is negligible.
