In this session, Ronan Levy, Co-Founder of Field Trip and Hayim Raclaw, CEO of PsyTech discuss the current state of the psychedelic renaissance. This influx of interest in re-learning about the benefits and potential of psychedelic therapies is driven primarily by the compelling data and research coming out of institutions and universities leveraging the scientific method. The new science is having a profound impact on the industry’s stigma. Because of this data-driven approach, there’s great investor interest in the space. But what’s different about the psychedelic therapeutic space is that the delivery of these molecules is nearly as important as the molecules themselves. Because of this, Field Trip is actively investing in the infrastructure (ie: the set and setting) to deliver this medicine. So how does this new paradigm of healthcare change the way investment resources should be allocated in this industry?
