It requires a special kind of evil to dump an innocent soul who is completely helpless; used as a money maker, only to be dumped when deemed no longer profitable.

This guy is Harrison, a member of the Low Rider Bully Breed, who has been used as only a way to make money. This breed is considered novel to some, and people will be extremely high amounts to get a “pure-bred” pup. The problem is that this often leads to unhealthy and dangerous overbreeding. Harrison has been used as a stud far too many times and was not taken care of in the meantime either. The intentional inwardness of his front legs and lack of strength in his back has caused him to nearly lose all mobility.

We found Harrison online after he was picked up by animal control hobbling down the street. His reward was being red-listed immediately for lack of shelter space and his medical issues that were once profitable for the breeders. We couldn’t turn our backs on this baby who had been betrayed by everyone he knew.

It has become clear to us that Harrison lived his life in a kennel far too small, and when he was allowed to come out, he would drag his body around, leaving horrifying scars on his back and making his atrophy and hip issues even worse. Harrison also suffers from neurological issues such as degenerative disc disease, degenerative myelopathy, myasthenia gravis, and myositis.

We are committed to giving Harrison the life he deserves. We have started him on therapy to help stimulate his muscles and nerves. His daily medication and therapy have helped him greatly, however, we have had to put in on hold due to the expense of it. Here’s why we need your help!!

Each week his therapy and medication cost close to $400. We are trying to raise funds for the next 6 weeks, so we are looking to raise $2,500, at least as a start!
