I know that Mighty Mouse VHS rips are already available from those that have previously uploaded them, but not the Kids Klassics versions. This tape was released in 1987 around the time Ralph Bakshi's Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures began airing, and is the first of the two releases to be based on Filmation's Mighty Mouse and Heckle & Jeckle cartoons, which in turn are based on the Mighty Mouse and Heckle & Jeckle cartoon series by Terrytoons. Filmation's The New Adventures of Heckle & Jeckle and Quacula also had two VHS tapes released between 1987 and 1988 as part of Kids Klassics' line up of VHS releases. This one is titled The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse: Mouse of the Desert and includes the aforementioned episode, but unlike the Filmation Heckle & Jeckle VHS releases in which they are presented in their original broadcast format. Kids Klassics' Mighty Mouse VHS releases omit The Great Space Chase serial episode segments and replaces them with an extra episode to fill out the 22 minute runtime. When it originally aired on CBS in 1979 as a separate program alongside Heckle & Jeckle and Quacula, The Great Space Chase serial segments were shown in between the Mighty Mouse episode segments. The Great Space Chase serial was later re-edited into a feature film released in 1982 and was later released on home video in 1983, 4 years prior to Kids Klassics obtaining the home video rights to Mighty Mouse and Heckle & Jeckle from Viacom. As a result, all later VHS releases omit The Great Space Chase episode segments due to the existence of the home video release of the aforementioned film.
