In Verdham, you find the townspeople petrified once again, and at the top of the central house you battle Rainmaker. Using the AngelTear restores the town, though one villager remains unconscious in the Herb Garden. Carrying him home leads to a series of personal dramas: Borlock asks you to help Linda, while Iwan and Kaya gossip about her feelings for Pepe. Following Linda reveals that Pepe needs a special potion, the Mila Drug, which you retrieve from Pamela in Engow. Giving it to Pepe revives him, and Borlock hosts a celebration. Yet tensions rise when Pepe resists Kaya’s suggestion to elope with Linda, ultimately deciding to leave town alone.

With Pepe gone, rumors of a merchant seeking shards guide you west to the Marshy Cave, where you battle Cavemon and JewelBags to claim two WindShards and a TinyMedal. Returning to the present, Verdham has vanished, leaving only the Herb Garden and another WindShard. Traveling further west brings you to Mentare, where you uncover a LandShard in the mansion and glowing herbs in a hidden cave. At the nearby Monastery, gravestones reveal that Linda and Pepe eventually found peace together. With shards gathered, you return to the Ruins and unlock the Traveler’s Gate to Deja, continuing your journey into new lands.
