Tuning: E Standard (original tuned a quarter step down)

This cover was a real blast to make, and a real challenge to capture Dimebag's incredible energy!

For those who are curious, there's an intentional tweak in the audio during the release bend in the solo. I stretched it in Reaper DAW to enhance the quality of my backing tracks, since I don't have a whammy bar or Floyd Rose.

In a live setting without a floyd rose or whammy bar, you can still achieve a good sound with a release bend like I did or you could simply give a big pick scrape on the lower strings for the transition.

There is a slight variation on the power chords section during the rhythmic riff of the solo, differing from the original, but nothing major. You can rely on the tabs though.

I used E Standard tuning for convenience, although Pantera was known to tune down just a bit, typically around a quarter step.
