Do You Need A Course That Teaches How To Build Big Apps?

When learning a new programming language, do you need to pick a course that actually teaches you how to create big application like Facebook or is it better to choose one that focuses more on teaching you the fundamentals? I often get questions from students who are looking for courses that teach you how to create the next Facebook. Let's talk about that, the difference between the two approaches, and more in this video.

My name is Tim Buchalka and I have put together a series of videos which I call the "Programming Tip of the Day".
