In the realm of the Great Underground Empire, the technocratic Grand Inquisitor Mir Yannick has outlawed all magic. Anyone caught using magic is punished through “totemization,” imprisoning victims in metal cans for eternity. After arriving in the small town of Port Foozle, you — an otherwise humble door‑to‑door appliance salesperson — find yourself wandering in search of someone to talk to.

Instead, you discover a magical lantern containing Dalboz, an exiled Dungeon Master imprisoned by the Inquisition. Upon freeing him, Dalboz bestows upon you the title AFGNCAAP: The nameless, politically neutral “Ageless, Faceless, Gender‑Neutral, Culturally‑Ambiguous Adventure Person” and unexpectedly declaring you the hero and sends you on a quest to recover the three legendary relics to restore magic and overthrow the Inquisition!
