Founded in 1901, Sian Chay Medical Institution in Singapore is a registered social service organization with the Ministry of Health (MOH), dedicated to offering free Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) consultations and affordable treatments to residents of all backgrounds. Sian Chay is guided by five core values: Tolerance, Universal Love, Compassion, Gratitude, and Blessing, demonstrating care and support to the community.

Under the voluntary leadership of Chairman Dato Seri Toh Soon Huat, JP, Sian Chay follows a unifying philosophy: "A prosperous nation fosters harmony in home and family, enriching both the people and the economy." With 14 branches across Singapore, Sian Chay has provided over 3.48 million consultations and dispensed more than 6.61 million medicine doses as of 2023.

In January 2023, the Sian Chay Charity Centre opened to the public, continuing Sian Chay’s century-old mission and actively supporting Singapore's National Health SG and Senior SG programs to bring accessible healthcare to local communities. The Centre regularly hosts health-focused recreational activities and lectures, promoting physical and mental wellness for individuals and families.

Today, healthy living activities are organized for seniors and open to all ages, religions, and ethnicities, fostering a shared understanding of holistic health and wellbeing.
