Five Headshot Photography Tips and Posing Prompts

Learn my five headshot photography tips that I use in the studio with my clients.

Tip One - Use a large modifier (larger the light source the softer the light)
Tip Two - Use a focal length more than 70mm
Tip Three - Shoot at a high aperature (f5.6 and higher)
Tip Four - Posing and direction prompts
Tip Five - Review your images with your client on set

Equipment Used:
- Backdrop stand: Savage Universal with Savage Universal seamless paper in super white
- V-Flat world v-flat: white side facing in toward subject
- Profoto D2 500 strobe
- Broncolor 5ft octobox
- Canon R5 using an 85mm lens
- Tethered directly to MacBook Pro using Capture One
