Protest against Give and Take land policy by the public of West Karbi Anglong.

According to 1951 Land demarcation, the boundary of Karbi anglong must be as usual. But in the mean time the chief Minister of Assam and the chief Minister of Meghalaya were discussing about land demarcation between Assam and Meghalaya boundary which the land is noticed in West Karbi Anglong located Block 1 and Block 2. So the publics of west karbi anglong will not accept the policy of Give and Take which discussed both chief Ministers.

The Amreng Border committee(ABC) organised a protest rally and submitted a memorandum to Hon'ble chief Minister of Assam through BDO of socheng.

More than thousands of public gathered and took the path of protest rally.
The programme was held in Jirikendeng.
