DAV College (DAVC) was established in the year 1958 in Chandigarh. The college is affiliated with Punjab University, Chandigarh. DAV, Chandigarh offers BA, B.Com, B.Sc., BBA, BCA, B.Voc. under the UG Programmes list. On the other hand, master’s degrees are available in Commerce, Humanities, Science and Technology along with a Ph.D. in 4 different subjects of Science. In addition to this, the college also avails Diploma & PG Diploma courses in different disciplines of practical importance.

Admissions to PG Courses (M.A., M.Com., M.Sc., PG Diplomas) for 2020 in DAV College, Chandigarh, will be taken on Merit Basis. All Entrance Exams have been scrapped in view of the current Covid-19 pandemic situation. The admission process will be starting from October 15, 2020, and conclude on November 7, 2020.

DAV College admission 2020 is over, the college will soon start the admission process for the 2021 session. The last date of admission at DAV College Sector 10 was September 30, 2020. The application portal for all the courses was open from July 27, 2020, and the window closed on August 22, 2020. The college released merit lists for the vacant seats and the students were given admission on a merit basis.

Admission to centralized courses such as DAV College BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Sc (Non-medical and Medical), and B.Sc (H) (Biotechnology) were made from August 5, 2020, to August 13, 2020. Admission to Non-centralized courses such as BA, MA (English, Economics, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, M.Sc Biotechnology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, M.Com (BE), BA B.Ed (Integrated), B.Voc (MLT and FST), UG and PG Diploma were made from August 10, 2020, to August 19, 2020.
