In this video we present to you Vid Bharathi Ramasubban singing a Tarangam from the 17th Century saint - composer Sri Narayana Tirtha's immortal Krishna Lila Tarangini. The opera extols the life and exploits of Sri Krishna and concludes with the union of Krishna and Rukmini. This Tarangam 'Gopalameva Daivatam' is set in Dvijavanti Raga, Misra Chapu Talam. Here Rukmini shows her unwavering faith in Krishna and recounts his many great deeds.
