As we continue the conversation with #AfricanYouthDevelopmentfund, we learn that its largest Behavior Change Program which falls under Substance Abuse Prevention is called Ke Moja and impacts 1,4 million young people annually via 600 to 700 of the 2000 schools in Gauteng.

It is part of the National Drug Master Plan developed by Central Drug Authority owned by the National Department of Social Development

Ke Moja has 8 modules and simply stated, the theory of change says, The future is amazing!' You future has the potential to be more than now - but you need to make the best choices in the now.

For young ones between the ages of 4 and 9 in , the more appropriate intervention is branded Ke Moja Puppets and is accessible in early childhood development centers.

The impact of this program was fueled by the introduction of annual training and refresher programs for Ke Moja facilitators as well as weekly monitoring, mentoring and coaching support visits to implementation partners on the ground.
